Fold the cabin door to the port side at the hinge and secure the door on the port side with
the magnetic latch.
To close the cabin door assembly:
Release the magnetic latch by pressing on the lever.
Move the cabin door to the starboard side while making sure that the door stays in the
track of the doorframe.
Unfold the cabin door hatch and allow it to set on the top of the door opening.
Press down slightly on the top of the cabin door hatch and the latch will engage itself.
Cabin/Companionway Door is
closed and latched.
When the door is open, take notice of the prevailing seas. The door should never remain open when you
are underway or when conditions might cause a passenger to lose their balance and accidentally fall
through the doorway.

Transom Door

The poly transom door is located on the port aft corner of the boat. The
sliding bolt style latch secures the door in the closed position. To open the
door, slide the latch to the port side (to the right from inside the cockpit).
The transom door should always remain closed while underway.
See the Service and Care section of this manual for cleaning
recommendations.

Hatches and Latches

Deck Hatches - The fiberglass deck hatches for the rope locker and the 2 fish boxes can easily withstand
the weight of passengers and gear; just like the rest of the deck surfaces. The twist latch that is installed
on the rope locker deck hatch is made of stainless steel. Just lift the handle of the latch from the
recessed area of the hatch, twist it and lift the hatch open. There is a small red dot on one side of the
latch. If the red dot is visible when the hatch is closed, that means that even though the hatch may be
closed, the latch is not secure. Lift the handle of the latch, turn it 180
the handle to the recessed area of the hatch. Once the hatch is secure, the red dot will no longer be
visible. Make sure that all hatches are closed and secured before you get underway.
Cabin Door Hatch is open.
Cabin Door and Cabin Door Hatch are both open.
