CRANKSHAFT

INSTALLING THE BALANCER SHAFT
1. Install:
S front balancer shaft weight 1
S front balancer shaft 2
S O-ring
New
S plate (balancer shaft)
a. Turn the crankshaft until the keyway a on
the crankshaft is aligned with the mark b on
the crankcase.
b. While holding the crankshaft, install the front
balancer shaft weight and align the mark c
on the front balancer shaft gear with the mark
d on the crankcase.
c. Install the front balancer shaft.
2. Install:
S dowel pins
S front balancer holder 1
3. Install:
S rear balancer shaft weight 1
S rear balancer shaft 2
S O-ring
New
5-85
ENG

10 Nm (1.0 mSkg)
