tion mark.
"CNIP" Feature
"CNIP" is an abbreviation for "Calling Name Identification Pres-
entation". In addition to the call number, the name configured
by the caller is also transmitted and displayed on the corre-
sponding call key. This assumes that the network provider trans-
mits this information with the connection. If the caller's number
is listed in the Comfort Pro S/T-Comfort 930 DSL telephone
book, then this – local – entry is displayed in preference.
"CLIR" Feature
"CLIR" is an abbreviation for "Calling Line Identification Restric-
tion". Before dialling a call number, you can decide from
case to case if you wish to prevent your call number
from being displayed to the called subscriber. To do this,

If this feature is not provided, your telephone number will always
