Port – Enter the port number used by the FTP server. The Default number is 21.
User Name/Password – Provide your log-in information to the desired FTP Server.
Upload Path – Specify the path to the directory where the uploaded files will be stored.
Create Folder – Create a designated folder to save all files.
Base File Name – This name will be used for all of the files saved.
Ex. File name will be "Base File Name_Ch#_yymmdd_hrmmsec.avi"
FTP Transfer Settings
Max File Time Limit – If recording time exceeds POST EVENT time, files will be sent in slice.
Channel – Press the Channel Setup button to select channel(s).
Event – Select between Motion and Sensor.
Warning: You MUST set your NVR recording to ON position for FTP file transfer to work. Files are
uploaded in AVI format.

3.5.8. Email / SNS (Social Network Service)

You can send Email / SNS to registered NVR users. There are four sub-menus under Email / SNS:
SMTP, Event, Schedule & Recipient.

3.5.8.1. Email /SNS: SMTP

SMTP mail server:
1) Server Type: Displays the connected server type.
2) Server: Enters a server to connect to.
3) Port: Sets the communication port.
4) User Authentication: Click the check box next to User Authentication if the SMTP server requires
user authentication. The account input box will be activated.
5) User: Enter a user to use authentication when connecting to the SMTP server.
6) Password: Enter the password of the SMTP server user.
7) Secure Transfer: you can select Never or TSL/SSL.
8) Sender: Use the virtual keyboard to enter the sender's email address.
9) TEST: Conducts the test on the server settings.
10) When the SMTP setting is complete, click OK.
