17. Remove three flange lock nuts (20), flat washers
(21), washers (45), and cap screws (19) securing the
front engine mount (13) and rear engine mount (11) to
the rubber mounts (18) (Fig. 19).
One person should operate the chain fall or hoist
while the other person guides the engine out of
the frame.
18. Remove engine from the frame.

CAUTION
A. Attach a short section of chain between both en-
gine mounts
B. Connect hoist or chain fall to center of chain.
IMPORTANT: Make sure not to damage the engine,
fuel and hydraulic lines, electrical harness, or other
parts while removing the engine.
C. Slowly remove engine and mounts from the ma-
chine.
19. Remove engine mounts, backing plate, and pump
plate as necessary to repair the engine (Fig. 19).
