1.6 To Eliminate Color Shifts for Text and Thin Lines

Before the adjustment
The text is shifted with respect to the
background color.
Explanation
When text or a thin line is printed, the colors sometimes shift from each other. To print or copy without color
shifts, perform color registration control.
Procedure
* The service technician must perform the adjustment in accordance with the procedure below.
(1) Enter adjustment mode [05], select code [407], and press the [START] button.
• Color registration control will be forcibly performed to correct the print timing lag.
Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
Nothing in particular.
Remarks
• Color shifts may not be completely eliminated depending on the type of text or line.
• You can also follow procedure (1) "execution of color registration control" from the Control Panel in the
following manner.
(a) Select the "PROGRAM" menu from the Control Panel and select "REGISTRATION".
(b) Select "YES" to execute color registration control.
* The [REGISTRATION] button is additionally displayed in the menu when the set value for 08-957 is set
to "1".
