3.4.1 To Improve Color Reproducibility of Gray Area in RGB Data

Procedures
* Perform the adjustment in accordance with the procedures below.
* All the adjustments are made by the service technician, and by the user.
* This adjustment is available only for PostScript printing under Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
* This adjustment is effective only for gray text and line art (graphics) included in RGB data. For the Microsoft
Office XP or later, this adjustment is effective only for text.
* This adjustment can improve color reproducibility just by making the following settings from the printer driver
without downloading a profile.
(1) Click on the Windows "Start" menu, select "Settings", then "Printers" to o pen the Printers folder.
* For Windows XP, click on the Windows "Start" menu, select "Printers and Faxes" to open the Printers and
Faxes folder.
(2) Open the properties of the printer driver of the MFP for adjustment, and change the setting of "Correct Gray
Text to PostScript Gray" and "Correct Gray Graphics to PostScript Gray" on the "Device Settings" tab to
"Yes".
