<Note> "Making the copy image look sharper" and "making moiré look quiet" are the adjustments which
are contrary to each other. When the adjustment is performed to make the copy image look sharp,
moiré is sometimes produced.

• Enter the value within the recommended value range mentioned in the procedures. Otherwise, it may cause a
loss in copier performance, such as image failure.
• Procedures (1) and (2) provide the same effect of the adjustment. However, procedure (2) gives even a wider
range of adjustments.
