3.3 To Obtain Color Balance Similar to That of Monitor

Before the adjustment
The color balance as viewed on the monitor
looks different from the printout.
Explanation
The color balance for printout is initially set to make images as bright in color as possible. Generally, the
reproducible colors are different in printing and on monitor (the reproducible colors are different in "ink" and
"light"). Consequently, it is not possible to make the color balance in printing completely match that of the
monitor. If you want to make the color balance in printing as similar to that of the monitor as possible because
of the user's request, perform calibration, RGB source profile setting, and color reproduction setting.
* When adjusting the image quality for PCL printing with the GA-1121 and GA-1131, the color balance similar
to that of the monitor, of which color base is set to sRGB, is obtained. Note that the printed colors when PCL
is used is different from those when PostScript is used even when the same data is printed because the printer
controller's image processing is different in each case.
As viewed on the monitor
The color balance similar to that on the
monitor is obtained.
