3. Printer-specific Adjustments
3.12 To Make Light-colored Fine Lines Look Sharper
Before the adjustment
Unadjusted settings.
Explanation
When a light-colored fine line is printed, it is sometimes disconnected. Adjust the halftone setting or make the
"CMYK Simulation Profile" settings to obtain a sharper fine line.
* The adjustment procedure differs for each purpose: "to adjust halftone" and "to make the CMYK Simulation
Profile settings". To improve reproducibility of light-colored fine lines contained in general data such as
Microsoft Office data, refer to "3.12.1 To Adjust Halftone" and to improve reproducibility of light-colored fine
lines contained CMYK data created by an application such as Illustrator, refer to "3.12.1 To Adjust Halftone"
and "3.12.2 To make CMYK Simulation Profile Settings".
