The following table describes the fields in this screen.
FIELD
Index
The index is unique for each interface. It ranges between 1 and the value of ifNumber (the
number of interfaces). The value for each interface must remain constant at least from one
re-initialization of the device's network management system to the next reinitialization.
Descr
This is a text string containing information about the interface.
Type
This shows the type of interface, distinguished according to the physical/link protocol(s)
immediately `below' the network layer in the protocol stack, for example "94" is ADSL.
VolumeBytes
This is the total number of input and output bytes.
InOctets
This is the total number of octets received on the interface, including framing characters.
OutOctets
This is the total number of octets transmitted out of the interface, including framing
characters.

8.3 Graph Packet Statistics
For details on information formats see Chapter 5 . Packet statistics for both incoming and outgoing traffic can be
displayed in graphical format. Click Performance, Interface, Graph Packet Statistics, one of Incoming,
Outgoing or All and finally click a port (ADSL or Ethernet).
