The following figure shows a network example where the computers want to get different services (data service for Internet access and video service) from two networks.

    Setting up a Ring Environment This section shows you how to set up a ring network using an IES-5000, IES-2000 and an ES-4024 switch. The computers should be able to connect to each other even though an uplink connection is down. The following sections describes the configuration steps in detail.
