Trouble
ON switch depressed,
electric fuel pump
not energized.
No ignition, cranks,
does not start.

1. Battery switch or
power not on.
2. 20 amp circuit
breaker tripped.
1. Overspeed module
tripped.
2. Fuse blown.
3. Lack of fuel.
4. Choke faulty.
5. Coil faulty.
6. Distributor faulty.
7. Wiring faulty.
1. Safety circuit
switch or wiring
faulty.
2. Fuse blown.
3. Overspeed module
faulty.

Remedy
1. Check switch and/or
battery connections.
2. Reset breaker
if
it
trips again, check
on and start circuits
for shorts to ground.
1. Reset circuit by de-
pressing stop switch.
2. Check fuses; replace
if
necessary.
3. Check for fuel to
generator set.
Check fuel lift pump.
4. Check to see that it
is not jammed. Should
be closed
if
engine is
cold.
5. Check coil.
6. Check distributor, points,
condenser, cap and wires.
7. Check wires and con-
nections for shorts,
breaks and corrosion.
1. Inspect all wiring for
shorts, corrosion or
loose connections.
Check operation of
switches.
2. Check fuses.
3. Check module.
Do by-pass test.
