CAUTION
If an engine fails to turn over when the starter circuit is energized, it's not always a starter
problem. The cause of the problem may be related to something else, such as water in the
cylinders causing a hydraulic lock or a faulty starter switch in the panel. In the event the starter
fails to turn the engine over, check the engine and starter circuit. If no fault is found, remove
the starter and test it.
