9. Place a new body gasket on the carburetor
base. Do not use any gasket sealer on this
gasket.
10. Gently place the needle valve in the seat.
Replace the float so that the needle valve's
wire retaining loop hooks onto the float's
retaining hook. Now check float level dis-
tance from the housing mating surface with
the housing held vertical.
Distance "A" from mating surface: 3/16 in-
ches (4.76 mm).
11. On the carburetor base, remove the ac-
celerator pump nozzle.
