xtension Group
Description
A number of extensions can be grouped together as an extension group. They
can own the same mailbox to share the same information.
Up to 20 extension groups can be created in the system and each group can
contain a maximum 20 extensions.
Conditions
• A Subscriber cannot have more than one mailbox.
• The VPS turns on the Message Waiting Notification Lamp on each extension
when a message is left in the mailbox (see Message Waiting Notification-
Lamp).

xtension Numbering Plan
Description
Specifies the first one or two digits of the extension numbers in your PBX so
that the VPS can recognize the extension number as a valid one.

xternal Message Delivery List

External Message Delivery Service

Description
Allows the Subscriber to deliver an external delivery message to multiple
destinations with a single operation.
Conditions
• The Subscriber can maintain up to two lists.
• One External Message Delivery List accommodates up to eight entries.
• When the Subscriber changes some of the entries in a list, the delivery
programs using the old list is canceled.

xternal Message Delivery Service
Description
Allows the Subscriber to deliver a message to anyone including the Non-
Subscriber. The VPS rings the telephone and plays the message directly to the
receiver.
A password can be assigned, if necessary, to protect the message from being
received by some other person. The Subscriber can also specify the date and
