Ensure Ihal CN15 is correclly connected to Ihe main PWB.
Check CIS Tuning (see Seclon G).
Procedure
1. The Internal test palter" IS good.

2. The scan roller and the scanner 5101 are clean.

3. Replace the CIS assembly (REP 4.4).
4. Replace lhe inkcartridge (PL 3.1).
The Internal lest paltern is good.

:eplace the main PWB (REP 8.1).
5. Complete the call.
IQ RAP 30 V-bars
This RAP is used if the image is missing wilh black vertical lines or bars and
relates only lo copy qualily of a fax operation.
Initial Actions
Ensure that lhe telephone line cord is connecled correctly.
Procedure
1. Transmit a document over a known good telephone line.
The Image is good.

N Replace the main PWB (REP 8.1).
2. The transmission line needs lo be lesled.
