Removal
CAUTION
Leaving the Ink Cartridge removed ior long
periods of time wi// cawe the ink nozzk?s to
bry out. Image quality problems or a blank
print could resu/t. If necessary, prime the Ink
Catiddge after reinstallation
1. Disconnect the Power Cord from the outlet.
2. Remove the following:

Ink Cartridge Cover (PL 3.1).
Ink Cartridge.
Rear Cover (REP 1.2).
Printer and Tray Assembly (REP Xi),
Printer Assembly (REP 3.2).
Carriage Assembly (REP 3.5).
Side Frame Assembly (REP 3.6).
Paper Feed Roller (REP 6.1).
3. Remove the ASF Sensor Cam and the A.9
Trays (Figure 1).

Push the lever while removing the ASF
Cam Gear.
Remove the screw and the ASF Sensor.
Push the four (4) tabs and remwe the
ASF Sensor Cover.
While pushing down on the ASF Trays,
move the ASF Cam up and remove it.
Bring the ASF Trays to a horizontal
position and remove them.
Replacement
ASF Sensor
1. Ensure the ASF Springs are positioned in
their recesses when installing the ASF Cam.
2. Reinstall the remaining components in the
reverse order.
