Press S if the Adaptec HostRAID is used.
If the Adaptec HostRAID is not used, go to Step 10.

Insert the "Windows Server 2003 OEM-DISK for NEC EXPRESSBUILDER" into the
floppy disk drive and press Enter.
A list of the SCSI adapter is displayed.

Select "Adaptec HostRAID U320 Driver Ver1.02 For Windows 2000/XP/2003" and press
Enter.
10.
Press Enter.
Then continue the proper jobs depending on the messages. Refer to the "First Step Guide" for
details of the installation.
After the files are copied, the system restarts automatically. Then provide the setup depending on
the directions on the screen. Refer to the "First Step Guide" for details.
Upon completion of installation, go to "Jobs to Perform after Installation".
Upgrade installation of Windows Server 2003 from Windows
2000
Follow these steps to upgrade your Windows 2000 to Windows Server 2003.
1.
Turn on the system and start Windows 2000.
2.
Log on to the system using a username of Administrator authority.
3.
Insert the Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM or the back-up CD-ROM into the CD-ROM
drive which is connected to the CPU Blade.
The [Select the operation executed] screen appears.
NOTE:
run [<CD-ROM drive letter>:\SETUP.EXE].
4.
Select the [Install Windows Server 2003].
A dialog box that requires to select either the upgraded installation or the clean installation
appears on the screen.
5.
Select the [Upgraded Installation (Recommended)] and click [OK].
Continue performing tasks according to the subsequent messages that appears on the
screen. The system will restart after the files have been copied.
NOTE:
CD-ROM remains in the CD-ROM drive, it does not affect the process.
