Adjusting the length of rear fan unit
The length of the rear fan unit can be adjusted three ways; short, standard, and stretch. The
factory-set is "standard".
Short:
Shorten the depth of the rear fan unit according to the rack on which the rear fan
unit is to be installed.
Stretch: Stretch the depth of the rear fan unit according to the cable to be connected to
the option slot card.
Adjusting the depth of rear fan unit can increase flexibility in installation of the blade
assembly unit. If you do not need to change the depth of the rear fan unit, use it as
"standard".
Short
IMPORTANT:
when the rear fan unit is used in short setting.
The adjustment procedure is shown below.
1.
Firmly hold the rear fan unit, and push the levers inward to unlock the rear fan unit.
Remove the rear fan unit from the blade assembly unit.

The cable for the option slot card may be unavailable
Stretch
