Press Enter.
IMPORTANT:
The following pop-up message may appear during upgrade
installation. Be sure to click [No] to proceed the installation.
The NEC Express logging driver is automatically installed at
"System Update" by the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER.
Then continue the proper jobs following the on-screen instructions. Refer to the "First Step Guide"
for details of the installation.
After the files have been copied, the system restarts automatically. Then provide the setup following
the on-screen instructions. Refer to the "First Step Guide" for details.
Once the installation is complete, go to "Jobs to Perform after Installation".

Installation of Windows 2000

Install Windows 2000 as described in the following procedure.
1.
Insert the Windows 2000 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
2.
Turn on the power to start the CPU blade.
3.
Press F6 while the message "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware
configuration..." appears at the top of the screen.
NOTES:
In this status, pressing F6 cannot change the screen display at all.
Conduct key entries when the access lamp on the USB floppy disk
drive is off (or access to the floppy disk does not occur).
4.
If the following message appears, press S.
Setup could not determine the type of one or more mass storage
devices installed in your system, or you have chosen to
manually specify an adapter. Currently, Setup will load
support for the following mass storage devices.
The following message appears.
manufacturer-supplied hardware support disk
5.
Insert the Windows 2000 Setup Driver for the Internal Floppy Disk Drive (provided with
N8405-013F) into the floppy disk drive and press Enter.
The driver for the USB floppy disk drive appears.
Please insert the disk labeled
into Drive A:
* Press ENTER when ready.
