. STARTING SYSTEM
DINK 50/125
STARTER MOTOR
INSPECTION
Disconnect the start motor cable ( 2) from the
start MAG (1).
Connect the start motor cable directly to the
battery positive terminal (3).
If the start motor does not turn, the starter
motor is faulty.
REMOVAL
Remove the air cleaner (refer to the
"CARBURETOR" section in the chapter
13).
Turn the ignition switch turned to "OFF"
Release the rubber cap (1) and remove the
terminal screw (2) to disconnect the start
motor cable from the start motor.
Remove the two mounting bolts (3) and
engine ground cable (4), then remove the start
motor.
