Precautions

• In the High Security Mode, an integrity check system is operated at every restart. If F521
(integrity check error) is displayed, take the necessary measures following the troubleshooting
procedure.
• When a self-diagnostic mode is started in the High Security Mode, an authentication screen
appears. Enter the default user name and password as follows:
Default user name: service
Default password: #1048#
• If a password change screen appears, reset the password according to the rules below.
- It must not include the user name.
- It must be a combination of letters of the alphabet and numbers.
- It must be 6 characters or more. (Maximum 64 characters)
- The same character must not be repeated 4 times within the new password.
- The old and the new passwords must not be the same.
• In the High Security Mode, restrictions are set to the following self-diagnostic codes:

08-8924
08-9110
08-9193
08-9379
08-9819
• In the above case, the password is not reset. The password setting can be changed with the
code 08-8919.
• The HDD is initialized (and the saved user data are deleted) when the equipment returns to
the normal mode from the High Security Mode. Be sure to back up user data before having it
do so.
• After the equipment enters the High Security Mode, ask the administrator for the equipment to
select [FULL] and perform the Integrity check manually.
