Upper limit value in the Toner Saving Mode

The upper limit value of the density when "Toner save" is selected in the Custom tab of the
printer driver can be adjusted.

The procedure is the same as that of  P. 4-11 "4.3.1 Gamma balance adjustment (Black
Mode)".

Thin line width lower limit adjustment

<Procedure>
(1) While pressing [0] and [5] simultaneously, turn the power ON.
(2) Key in the codes to be adjusted and press the [START] button.
(3) Key in the adjustment value. (To correct the value once keyed in, press the [CLEAR] button.)
(4) Press the [OK] or [INTERRUPT] button to store the value in memory. → The equipment
goes back to the ready state.
(5) For resetting the value, repeat step (2) to (4).
(6) Let the equipment restart and perform the printing job.
(7) If the desired image has not been attained, repeat step (1) to (6).

Sets the lower limit value of the thin line width when "Distinguish Thin Lines"
is selected in the screen selecting menu of the printer driver.
The larger the value is, the thicker (darker) the thin line becomes.
Acceptable values: 1 to 9 (Default: 1 for 8240 / 4 for 8241)
Remarks
The smaller the value is, the lighter the density of
image becomes.
Acceptable values: 0 to 255 (Default: 176)
