Ê Turn the dummy covers removed beforehand through 90° to the left.
Ê Install the drives and empty covers in the drive cage.
Ê Reestablish all connections to the drives.
Ê Attach the rack front cover, close the server, connect it to the power outlet,
and switch it on as described in the
seq..
To enable the rack model to be presented correctly in ServerView, proceed as
follows:
Ê Boot the system from the ServerStart DVD.
Ê Select your language in the first window, select „Status backup media - No
status backup" and click „Continue".
Ê Read the terms of license and accept them.
Ê Continue with the Guided/Expert mode.
Ê Select "Tools - System Configuration Utilities - SCU Chassis Model
Conversion" and convert the server type to rack mounted.
