Thick Paper Image Density

A. Use
• To fine-adjust density of printed images of each color for thick paper.
• To change the density of the printed image for each color with thick paper.
B. Procedure
• The default setting is 0.
1. Call the Service Mode to the display.
2. Touch [Printer Adjustment]
3. Touch the key for desired color.
4. Using the [+]/[-] key on the screen or the ten-key pad, enter a correction amount and
touch [OK].
<Adjustment instructions>
Light color: increase the setting value
Dark color: decrease the setting value

Black Image Density

A. Use
• To fine-adjust the density of the printed image for a black printing.
• To vary the density of the printed image of a black printing.
B. Procedure
• The default setting is 0.
1. Call the Service Mode to the display.
2. Touch [Printer Adjustment]
3. Using the [+]/[-] key on the screen or the ten-key pad, enter a correction amount and
touch [OK].
<Adjustment instructions>
If the black is light, increase the setting value.
If the black is dark, decrease the setting value.

Image ADJ Param

A. Use
• Adjusts the printer in case of an image quality problem (uneven density)
• To correct image quality problems (uneven density) due to the machine being operated
at a high altitude.
B. Procedure
• The default setting is 0.
-5 to +5
[Thick Paper Image Density].
-2 to +2
[Black Image Density].
0 to 6
