Check/replace suction hose
– Check the suction hose (5) for leaks and blok-
kages, clean/replace if necessary.
Check/adjust the suction beam setting
– Loosen knurled grips (2).
– Align the suction beam (3) so that it is straight.
– Tighten the knurled grips (2).
– Loosen the wing screws (1).
– Align the suction beam (3) (inclination adjust-
ment).
– Tighten the wing screws (1).
Clean/replace rubber strips on suction
beam
Clean the rubber strips (10) on the suction beam
and check for damage/wear. Turn over/replace
if necessary.
– Remove the retaining screws (9), pull off de-
flection roller (8) with metal bushing (7) and
rubber strip retainer (6) on both sides of the
suction beam (3).
– Pull the rubber strips (10) at one side out of the
guide grooves, install new rubber strips in re-
verse order.
Note
The front and rear rubber lips can also be
rotated by 180°.
