Basic settings and service procedures
Adjust lifting motor - brush head (M20)
Note:
The limit position of the lifting motor (7) is
2
determined by the electrical current limiter.
The lifting motor's shut-off function (7) via
3
microswitches can be activated/deactivated
using the system parameters (Chapter 5.3).
6
The microswitch function is not activated at
the factory.
– Remove the retaining screws of the cover (6)
and remove the cover (6).
Adjusting upper limit position /microswitch
(S21)
The lifting motor is switched off from the micro-
switch (S21) when raised.
– Extend the piston (8) of the lifting motor (7) in
test mode to 100 mm (3.94 in) (brush assem-
bly 1-2 cm (0.39-0.79 in) under edge of unit
frame). (Lower brush assembly, see test mode
Chapter 5.1).
– Adjust the cam (1) for actuating the microswitch
(3) in this position.
Adjusting lower limit position / micro-
switch (S21)
The lifting motor (M20) lowers the brush head
(control speed v1). If the brushes are still 10mm
(0.394 in) from the ground (position B, page 106),
the limit switch (S20) switches and the lowering
speed of the lifting motor is reduced (control speed
v2). The lifting motor (M20) is not switched off.
The lifting motor is switched off or limited in posi-
tion C (page 106), depending on the brush motor's
current consumption. The brush contact pres-
sure can be adjusted using the operator menu
(see Chapter 3.3)
Note:
If the brush head tends to severe vibrations
(audible up and down movements), the
control speed v of the lifting motor (M20) can
be reduced using the parameter setup (see
Chapter 5.3).
