Font, Transmit

Purpose:
Uploads a font from the printer in the form of commands and data the
printer receives to create the font.
Syntax:
<ESC>v n
The font ID number is n. The range is from 0 to 28, 30 to 41, and from 50 to
62 (with Kanji option).
Notes:
Sending <ESC>v to the printer without designating a parameter causes the
printer to upload the directory of all user-defined fonts. The syntax of the
directory is:
IDnumber, name, type, storage size<CR><LF>
type = 200 for bitmap fonts
type = 300 for Speedo outline fonts
type = 301 for TrueType fonts
Storage size will be 0 (zero) for resident fonts.
The data is in the form of the current printer mode (that is, Advanced or
86XX Emulation). Each data byte represents six bits of the font's bitmap in
Advanced mode or one bit in 86XX Emulation mode. A target printer to
which you send the commands and data remains in Advanced mode.
The printer generates an error code (27) if you enter an invalid font number.

Form Feed

Feeds a label out to the next print point.
Purpose:
Syntax:
<FF>
Notes:
If you use self-strip, the printer feeds out one blank label to the strip pin,
skipping an entire label. If you use batch operation with die-cut label stock,
the label moves to the tear bar.
If you use continuous label stock, the label stock moves the same amount as
the end-of-print skip distance.
