Setting the MSN for Other Media and Ribbon If you are not using Intermec media and ribbon, or you misplaced your packaging with the three-digit MSN label on it, you can set the approximate sensitivity number. The first column of the Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer Media Sensitivity Settings tables list the approximate sensitivity settings.

Connecting the Printer to a PC You can connect your printer to either a serial port or a parallel port (if you have the parallel option installed) on your PC.
