3) Turn the crankshaft clockwise and align the match
mark "A" on the crankshaft with the mating surfaces
"B" of the crankcases. Also position each of the
camshaft as shown.
4) Remove the cam chain tension adjuster cap bolt (2)
and spring.
5) Remove the cam chain tension adjuster (3) and its
gasket.

6) Remove the oil pipe (4) and camshaft journal holders
(5).
CAUTION
!
Be sure to loosen the camshaft journal
holder bolts evenly by shifting the wrench in
the descending order of numbers.

7) Remove the intake (6) and exhaust camshafts (7).
8) Remove the dowel pins.

Cylinder Head
1) Remove the cylinder head.
NOTE
When loosening the cylinder head bolts,
loosen each bolt little by little diagonally.
