Brake caliper 1

(temporarily)
Copper washers 2
Brake hose 3
Union bolt 4

New
CAUTION:
When installing the brake hose on the cali-
per, make sure that the brake pipe touches
the projection a on the brake caliper.
WARNING
Proper hose routing is essential to insure
safe machine operation. Refer to "CABLE
ROUTING".
Always use new copper washers.
4.Remove:
Brake caliper
5.Install:
Pad spring
Brake pads
(with pad shim)
Retaining bolts
Front brake caliper
Refer to "BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT".

Union bolt:
27 Nm (2.7 m • kg, 19 ft • lb)
Retaining bolt (caliper bracket):
23 Nm (2.3 m • kg, 17 ft • lb)
Retaining bolt:
18 Nm (1.8 m • kg, 13 ft • lb)
Bolt (brake caliper):
30 Nm (3.0 m • kg, 22 ft • lb)
