STEERING SYSTEM
7.Install:
Cotter pin 1
NOTE:
Do not loosen the axle nut after torque
tightening. If the axle nut groove is not
aligned with the cotter pin hole, align
groove with the hole by tightening up on
the axle nut.
WARNING
Always use a new cotter pin.
8.Tighten:
Washer
Nut
Clip
Nut (steering shaft):
30 Nm (3.0 m • kg, 22 ft • lb)
9.Install:
Cable guide 1
Lock washer 2
Bolts 3
Bolt (bearing holder):
23 Nm (2.3 m • kg, 17 ft • lb)
WARNING
Always use a new lock washer.
10.Bend the lock washer tabs.
11.Lubricate:
Bushing (steering shaft)
Lithium-soap base grease
