FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER AND FRONT ARM
7.Inspect:
Lower arms free play
*********************************
Inspection steps:
Inspect the lower arm brackets 1 of the
frame.
If bent, cracked or damaged, repair or
replace the frame.
Check the tightening torque of the lower
arm securing nuts 2.
Nut (lower arm):
45 Nm (4.5 m • kg, 32 ft • lb)
Check the lower arm side play Å by mov-
ing it from side to side. If side play notice-
able, replace the bushings or lower arm
as a set.
Check the lower arm vertical movement
ı by moving it up and down.
If vertical movement is tight, binding or
rough, replace the bushings or lower arm
as a set.

Nuts 1
Bolts 2
Lower arm 3
Bushings 4
