2.5.5 Chute Assy Out (PL7.1)

2.5.5.1 Main Functions
SENSOR PAPER (Full Stack Sensor) (PL7.1.4)
Change in the actuator position detects exceeded quantities of discharged
or collected paper on the top cover.
(Full stack: sensor receiving)
SENSOR PAPER (Dup Jam Sensor) (PL7.1.4)
Change in the actuator position detects if the paper has reached or is
passing through the ROLL DUP (PL7.1.12).
(Paper present: sensor receiving)
SENSOR PAPER (MSI No Paper Sensor) (PL7.1.4)
Change in the actuator position detects presence/absence of paper on the
manual feed tray.
(Paper absent: sensor blocked)
SOLENOID FEED MSI (PL7.1.40)
The ROLL ASSY FEED (PL7.1.27) motion (rotating/stopped) is controlled
by the GEAR MSI (PL7.1.22) rotation.
ROLL ASSY FEED (PL7.1.27)
When the SOLENOID FEED MSI moves, force from the SPRING SOL
(PL7.1.39) causes the GEAR MSI and GEAR IDLER (DRIVE MAIN ASSY)
to engage, the ROLL ASSY FEED begins rotating by receiving driving
force from the DRIVE ASSY MAIN (PL14.1.2) and feeds a sheet of paper
from the manual feed tray.
A notch in the GEAR MSI causes the GEAR MSI and GEAR Idler (DRIVE
ASSY MAIN) to disengage after one revolution, cutting the transfer of force
and stopping rotation of the ROLL ASSY FEED. In this way, one sheet of
paper is fed at a time.
ROLL DUP (PL7.1.12)
ROLL DUP begins rotating by receiving driving force from MOTOR ASSY
DUP (PL8.1.8) and then conveys single-side printed paper from the
CHUTE ASSY EXIT (PL8.1.1) to the ROLL TURN (PL5.1.2). (See Section
2.5.3 HOUSING ASSY RETARD)
