1.14.2 Display Elements Description

LCD (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY) (1)
A liquid crystal display that indicates up to 1-line x 20-digit (5x7 dot matrix). It
displays printer statuses in normal operation. In the panel setting mode, it
shows menu, items, and values.
DATA LIGHT (7)
ON
Indicates that received data remain in the printer without being printed.
OFF
Indicates that valid printing data do not exist in the printer.
FLASH
Indicates that the printer is receiving or processing data.
READY LIGHT (8)
ON
Indicates that the printer is ready to print.
OFF
Indicates that the printer cannot print.
Error condition
In an error occurrence, printing is disabled switching off the On Line light.
ERROR LIGHT (9)
FLASH 1
An error where printing continues if the Start/Stop button is pressed has
occured.
Product Descriptions
FLASH 2
An error where an operator must release the error and press the Start/Stop
button has occured.
ON
An error that cannot recover unless an operator clears the printer error has
occured. Releasing the error allows the printer to recover automatically.
NOTE: FLASH 1:
The light is on and off alternately for 0.3 seconds each.
FLASH 2:
The light is on and off alternately for 0.6 seconds each.
