Initial setting
Do the following checks show a problem?
• Cartridge installation

• Switch TCRU Assy (PL12.2.10) (C) installation
• Switch TCRU Assy (C) actuator installation
• Switch TCRU Assy (C) connector installation
Switch TCRU Assy (PL12.2.10) check
2 Use the diagnosis tool to carry out a digital input test.
Is the switch TCRU Assy (PL12.2.10) functioning normally?
Switch TCRU Assy (C) (PL12.2.10) signal voltage
1. Disconnect the P/J51 connector from the PWB drive (PL15.1.15).

2. Measure the voltage between P51-29 <=> P51-30.
Is the voltage between P51-29 <=> P51-30 3.3V DC?
Switch TCRU Assy (C) (PL12.2.10) operation
1. Push and release the switch TCRU Assy (C).

2. Check the continuity between J51-11 <=> J51-12.
Does J51-29 <=> J51-30 have continuity when the switch TCRU Assy (C) is pressed, and
no continuity when it is released?
Harness Assy TNR (PL12.1.6) continuity check
1. Disconnect the P/J431 connector from the switch TCRU Assy (Y).
2. Check the continuity between the following lines.

J51-29 <=> J433-2
J51-30 <=> J433-1
Is the continuity between J51 <=> J433 normal?
PWB drive (PL15.1.15) continuity
1. Disconnect the connector (P/J42) and (P/J51) on the PWB Drive.

2. Check the continuity between P42-6 <=> J51-29.
Is the continuity between P42-6 <=> P51-29?
Harness Assy DRV 2 (PL15.2.3) continuity check
1. Disconnect the P/J12 connector on the PWBA MCU & HVPS (PL15.1.2).

2. Check the continuity between J12-25 <=> J42-6.
Is the continuity between J12-25 <=> J42-6 normal?
Troubleshooting
Check
Level 2 FIP
Treatment
Yes
• With the tool: Go to step 2.
Reinstall applicable parts.
• Without the tool: Go to step 3.
Replace the PWBA MCU &
Go to step 3.
HVPS. (Refer to Ch4-4.2.18.1)
Go to step 4. Go to step 6.
Replace the PWBA MCU &
Go to step 5.
HVPS. (Refer to Ch4-4.2.18.1)
Replace the Switch TCRU Assy Replace the Harness Assy TNR
(C). (Refer to Ch4-4.2.15.6) (PL12.1.6).
Replace the PWB Drive.
Go to step 7.
(Refer to Ch4-4.2.18.5)
Replace the PWBA MCU & Replace the Harness Assy DRV 2
HVPS. (Refer to Ch4-4.2.18.1) (PL15.2.3).
