System Reminder
MBC - 4-06
The system has eight system alarms that can be set to alert all digital station users on
the system of preprogrammed event times. When the time is reached, all idle station
users will hear one minute of background music (BGM). If no BGM is connected to
the system extensions will hear the same tone used for holding callers. (Beep tone
repeated - one second on/one second Off.) These alarms will function daily.
Extensions listening to BGM will not be able to differentiate between the reminder
alarm and the BGM already playing. Use 24 hour format when you input reminder
times.
Data Range: 00:00 to 23:59
Factory Setting (1 - 8): Null
Press show.
Use next and back to select the alarm (1 - 8) to change.
Press chg.
Enter the time for this Alarm/Reminder in 24-hour format.
Press save.
Note:
Erase Alarm / Reminder times by pressing save immediately after chg.
Time Switching
MBC - 4-07
Time switching is used when the Service Setting is set to Time. When the system is in
the Time mode, the system will automatically switch between Lunch Modes and Day/
Night mode. This can be overridden only at the attendant extension using the feature
code Feature 63 and entering the attendant extension password. Time Switching is
programmed for each of the seven days, Monday through Sunday. All times must be
entered in 24 hour format.
Data Range: 00:00 - 23:59
Factory Setting: All Days - Noon Start, Null - Noon End, Null - Night Start -
17:00, Night End - 08:00
Press show.
Use back and next to select the Day to change.
Press show.
The current programming of Noon Start is displayed.
Use back and next to select between time options.
Press chg.
Input the time for this mode change in 24-hour format.
Press save.
