Because of the inherent physical properties of radio waves, your communications can be received by radio receiving devices other than your own DCKT970.

    DCKT970 Owner’s Manual Connecting the Telephone Cords The DCKT970 Digital Wireless Key Telephone must be connected to an ADIX Digital Station port (IX-8PSUB-1, IX- 16PSUB, IX-408 or an IX-044). CAUTION: Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm. Never touch non-insulated telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone line has been disconnected at the network interface.

    Chapter 3 Installing Your DCKT970 Connecting the Desk Telephone Connect a telephone cord from the Desk phone to the LINE OUT jack on the DCKT970 Base Unit. The Desk phone can now be used to answer or place calls in the normal manner.

    Chapter 3 Installing Your DCKT970 Wall Installation Standard Wall Plate Mounting The DCKT970 Digital Wireless Key Telephone is designed to mount on a standard AT&T or GTE wall plate. To attach the wall mount stand to the Base Unit: 1. Slide the Wall Mount stand into the notches at the top of the Base Unit, push the Wall Mount stand down and snap it into place.

    C h ap ter 8 Troubleshooting If your DCKT970 Digital Wireless Key Telephone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps. If you are still unable to resolve the problems, contact your System Administrator or Authorized Iwatsu Distributor.
