Installation

KSU Packing List

Each Omega-Phone 924 OM-KSU is shipped with the following components and
documentation:
Components:
• 1 x OM-KSU.
• 1 x AC Power Adapter with AC cord.
• 1 x Fuse (125V 4A). Spare fuse located inside OM-KSU.
• 15 x Quick Connectors (In accessory pack).
• 2 x Zip ties (6-inch) (In accessory pack).
• 2 x Drywall anchors (In accessory pack).
• 2 x Phillips head mounting screws (1-inch) (In accessory pack).
• 1 x MOH/BGM connector adapter (In accessory pack).
• 8 x Screws (In accessory pack).
(Save these screws for mounting the second 308 board and voice mail card.)
Documentation:
• 8 x OM-KTD30 Digital Station Quick Reference Guides.
• 2 x Single Line Telephone Quick Reference Guides.
• 1 x Omega-Phone 924 Owner's Manual.
• 1 x Quick Installation Guide.

Basic Tools and Supplies

• Minimum of Category 3 - 3 or 4 twisted pair cable run from the MDF to each
telephone terminal device.
• 4 or 6 conductor modular jack assemblies for all extension terminals.
• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system to protect the system in the even of a
voltage spike or power outage.
• Standard telephone hand tools and mounting hardware for the KSU, MDF
backboard, terminal blocks, modular jack assemblies, etc.
