Part 3 Getting Ready
Mount the included media cover on the machine's media

Feeding the Media

Pressing the [ready/insert] button when the machine is not receiving data from the computer (that is, when the [ready] light is illuminated)
performs media supply and feed.
Holding down the [ready/insert] button for one second or longer feeds the media.
Also, media feed continues while you hold down the [ready/insert] button, and stops when you release it.

Cutting Off the Media

To cut off the output portion of the media while leaving the roll media loaded on the machine, follow the steps below.
Media Cutoff Feature
When the machine is not receiving data from the computer (that is, when the [ready] light is illuminated), you can cut off the media by
following the steps below.
Hold down the [ready/insert] button and press the [power] button for one second or less.
Hold down the [ready/insert] and [power] buttons until media feed occurs.
Cutting Off the Media After Printing
Making the following setting in the [Roland PC-12] dialog box causes the media to be cut off page by page during printing.
- At the [Media/Cuttings] page, in the [Media Handling] field, select the check box for [Cur Media After Printing].

Removing the Media

Follow the steps below to remove the media in the event of a jam or the like.

Press the front-cover eject button and open the front cover.
