[Media Type]

This selects the type of media to use. The available selections and displayed items in the [Print Settings] field may differ
according to the type of media that you have selected.
Use ink-ribbon cartridges that are compatible with the selected media.
[Media for Resin]
[Media for Wax]
[User Defined] button
[Adjustment] button
Saving a Media Type Under a New Name
You can create a new media type and attach a name to it.
The media type you save here is treated the same as the media type on which it is based (resin-use media or wax-use
media).
You can use the drop-down menu in the [Media Type] field to view saved media types.
1 Use [Media Type] to select the media type you want to
modify.
2 In the [Media Type] field, click [User Defined].
When the [User Defined Media Type] dialog box displays,

type in a name in [Save As].
Click [Save] to save the media type.
(You can delete an unneeded media type by selecting it in
[List] and clicking [Delete].)
The saved document type appears in the menu for the

[Media Type] field.

Select this when you are performing output on resin-use media.
Select this when you are performing output on wax-use media.
Click this to save a media type under a new name.
Click this to adjust the settings (such as the density and cutting position) for the selected media type.
Items saved using [Save As]
