Part 5 Many Kinds of Printing and Settings
[Settings to Cut]
This sets the cutting speed and cutting pressure that are used when cutting the media. You can also carry out cutting tests.
For more information, go to "4.1 Printing Tests and Cutting Tests" and refer to "Cutting Test."
[Restore Defaults]
This returns the settings on this page to their default values.

[Image Settings] Page

By making the settings for the items on the [Image Settings] page, you can print output data with the coloring in the data adjusted
automatically.
[Photo Enhancement]
This makes the setting for automatic color correction and sets how black is printed.
[Use Automatic]
[Saturation]
[Color Balance]
[Darker Black]
[Image Only]
[Whole Page]
When you want to print black using only the K process color, go to the [Photo Enhancement] field and clear the
selection for [Darker Black].

To perform automatic color correction, select this check box and select the method of automatic color
correction (either [Saturation] or [Color Balance]).
When [Print Using] is set to [Single Color], this selection is unavailable.
This adjusts the saturation without affecting the color scheme.
This adjusts the saturation, taking the color scheme into account.
When [Document Type] is set to [Grayscale], this selection is unavailable.
When this check box is selected, printing is performed using all four CMYK colors. When you are
printing photos or the like, this can make changes in gradation more natural.
When [Document Type] is set to [Photographs], this check box is selected automatically.
When [Document Type] is set to [Grayscale], [Print Using] is set to [Single Color], or [Select Ink
Cartridge(s)] is set to [YMC] or [CMY], this selection is unavailable.
This uses Darker Black processing only for areas that are images.
This uses Darker Black processing for the entire page.
