5.2 Driver Settings

This section describes the items in the [Roland PC-12] dialog box. Read this when you want to find out about a selection item.

[Print Settings] Page

At the [Print Settings] page, you can make the settings for the document type, media type, print mode, printing method, and so on.
[Output Data]
This selects the method used to output data.
The cutting line is the data you select in the [What to Cut] field on the [Media/Cuttings] page. What is output changes
depending on what you select here.
[Printing & Cutting]

[Cutting]
[Crop Marks]

This performs printing and cutting.
This performs only printing. Cutting is not performed even if the output data contains cutting lines.
However, when you select [None] in the [What to Cut] field on the [Media/Cuttings] page, all data is
printed.
This performs only cutting. Printing is not performed even if the output data contains data other than
cutting lines.
You can specify this when [Printing & Cutting] is selected.
When you have chosen [Printing], selecting [Crop Marks] causes crop marks to be printed. The crop
marks are printed on each page outside the printing size. Also, crop marks are printed in black, so be
sure to install a compatible black ink-ribbon cartridge.
When you have chosen [Cutting], selecting [Crop Marks] causes the machine to detect the crop
marks on each page, perform alignment, then carry out cutting.
