2.2 Reinstalling and Deleting

You can carry out the following operations on the installed driver as required.
* If you have just finished installing the driver for the PC-12, the following operations are not necessary.
When you are changing how the computer and the machine are connected (that is, changing from a parallel cable to a
NOTICE
USB cable or vice versa), first delete the existing driver, then reinstall.
Reinstalling
If files for the PC-12 are lost for some reason, you should carry out installation again.
Deleting
You can delete the PC-12 driver from the computer.

To Reinstall or Delete

Before reinstalling or deleting, quit all programs that are in use.
Refer to steps 1 to 3 of the procedure for installing to

display the setup menu, then click [Install].
Alternatively, in Windows, go into Control Panel
and double-click the [Add/Remove Programs]
icon. When the [Add/Remove Program Properties]
dialog box appears, click [Roland PC-12] to select
it, then click [Add/Remove].
When the message "Do you want to delete the
Roland PC-12 driver?" appears, click [Yes]. Doing
this skips step 2.
When the screen for selecting the setup type appears,

choose [Reinstall] or [Uninstall], then click [Next].
When you select [Reinstall], the procedure is the same as
step 5 and after of the installation procedure. Refer to that
for more information.
