Drive the motor

The inverter needs frequency command and start command. Turning the start command on
start the motor rotating and the motor speed is determined by the frequency command (set fre-
quency). Refer to the flow chart below to perform setting.

Check the following items before powering on the inverter:
● Check that the inverter is installed correctly in a correct place. (Refer to section 2.3.)
● Check that wiring is correct. (Refer to section 3.2.)
● Check that no load is connected to the motor.
NOTES
When protecting the motor from overheat by the inverter, set Pr. 9 "Electronic thermal O/L
relay". (Refer to section 5.1.1.)
When the rated frequency of the motor is not 50Hz, set Pr. 3 "Base frequency" (Refer to
section 5.1.2.)
