2) Heat seal removal procedure
1. Drive screw driver lightly into the heat seal hole.
2. Turn screw driver three or four times each way.
3. While turning the screw driver, slowly pull the heat
seal put together with the injection nozzle gasket. If
the heat seal drops, repeat the above procedure.
4. Heat seal and injection nozzle gasket must be
changed when the injection nozzle is removed for
cleaning or for service.
NOTE:
• Use a philips screw driver that has a diameter
which is bigger than the heat seal hole 1/4 in.
(approx. φ 6mm).
3) Rocker arm assembly
1. Loosen the nuts in several steps and the specified
sequence shown in the figure and remove them.
2. Remove the rocker arm assembly and the push rod.
(When reassembling)
• Rest the end of push rod at the indent of tappet and
install the rocker arm assembly.
• Tighten the nuts in several steps and in the speci-
fied sequence to the specified torque. As shown in
the figure.
• Adjust the valve clearance after assembling the
rocker arm assembly.
IMPORTANT:
• When assembling the rocker arm assembly, locate
the groove of rocker arm shaft on stud bolt.
