SECTION 10—SHROUDS AND FRAME

Installing

1. If necessary, insert one bushing into each end of the pivot tube.
2. Position the pivot tube onto the pivot post.
NOTE: Ensure the opposite end of the pivot tube is parallel to the end of the walking beam. If
necessary, reposition the pivot tube.
3. Secure the end of the pivot tube to the pivot post using the two small washers, the
large washer and the locknut. Torque to 90 in-lbs ± 20%.
4. Install the front headtube assembly. Refer to Removing/Installing the Front Headtube
Assembly on page 83.
