Logs Containing Fault Information
If a failure occurs in the system, the system and XSCF collects some fault
information logs.

Log information is the same as
the FM log. The display form
of the log is peculiar to the
platform.
System log
Log for recording output
Oracle Solaris OS messages. If
a failure occurs, an outline of
the failure is output.
Monitor
Log for recording messages,
message log
from the XSCF firmware,
reporting abnormalities
Note – Archived: Indicates log entries are replicated (backed up) on the archive
host, if log archiving is enabled. The logs displayed by the Oracle Solaris OS
commands are not archived.
