Problem
Misfeeds occur frequently.
You cannot combine several
functions.

Order of copies is not correct.
Cause
Copy paper size setting is not
correct.
Selected functions cannot be
used together.
Cause
The original size and the copy
paper size do not match.
Your originals are not identi-
cal in size and direction.
You placed originals in an in-
correct order.

Action
Set the proper paper size. See
p.48 "Changing the Paper
Size" or p.27 "Copying from
the Bypass Tray".
Refer to the combination
chart. See p.37 "Combination
Chart".
Action
Set the original size and the
copy paper size correctly. See
p.20 "Placing Standard Size
Originals"
Use originals that are identical
in size and direction.
When loading originals in the
document feeder (ADF), the
last page should be on the bot-
tom.
If you place an original on the
exposure glass, start with the
first page to be copied.
